Prototype of an Online Cost Estimator Using AngularJS
Objective/Challenge
Save precious time on the phone while boosting sales and streamlining customer interactions. Operate within budget constraints through brainstorming and collaboration.
Background
General manager found themselves investing significant time in phone discussions with customers, going through the pricing details for every single customization.
Recognizing the need for an efficient solution, we conceived the idea of developing a widget that allows customers to intuitively "build a board" while instantly visualizing real-time pricing adjustments.
Project Execution
One of our challenges was to empower the manager to swiftly make pricing modifications. To address this, we constructed a JSON dataset containing comprehensive feature listings and their corresponding pricing, which was seamlessly integrated into the configurator. The development phase involved creating a multi-stage widget using AngularJS, driven by the JSON dataset derived from the pricing sheet.
Results
This collaborative effort with the client resulted in the fine-tuning of the widget's functionality, ultimately leading to a fully functional "proof of concept" prototype.
Currently, we are in the final stages of implementing features that enable users to receive an emailed copy of their configuration, request follow-up calls, and conveniently make online deposits.
